Hoya is one of the most diverse groups in our tropical plant collection. Some varieties are grown primarily for their foliage, while others become especially interesting when they mature and produce their characteristic clusters of flowers. Leaf shape can range from thick and rounded to narrow, elongated, textured or variegated, so two Hoyas can look completely different even though they belong to the same genus.
Our Hoya collection comes from Thailand and includes plants suited to collectors who enjoy building a diverse indoor or greenhouse collection. Many Hoyas naturally prefer an airy root environment, and their trailing or climbing stems give growers plenty of options for displaying them in hanging baskets, on shelves or against a support.
